His practice has been dedicated to Tax Law, providing advice to clients in the area of direct and indirect taxes and tax litigation projects.
Afonso completed a Law degree at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon in 2015.
He completed a Postgraduate Degree in Taxation at the Faculty of Law of the Portuguese Catholic University (2018).
Afonso completed an Advanced LLM in International Tax Law at the University of Amsterdam (2024).
He is also the author of articles in publications in the area of Tax Law, especially in the field of VAT.
Is fluent in Portuguese, English and Spanish.
